Bridget Vandenburgh
Owner, Lead Interior Designer
Bridget Vandenburgh is the Founder and President of Bridget Vandenburgh Interiors, Inc., an interior design firm serving Fort Myers, Sanibel, and Captiva Islands. With over 30 years of experience, Bridget has been transforming spaces since 1992.
Bridget holds a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design with a minor in Business from Mount Saint Joseph College in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was a member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) from 1988 until recently and earned a Green Leaders Certificate in 2009 after completing an intensive sustainable home furnishings course endorsed by the Sustainable Furnishings Council.
Before relocating to the warmth and beauty of Sanibel Island, Bridget spent 10 years as the owner of Woods Interiors in Lancaster, Ohio. Since 2005, she has been designing spaces in the Fort Myers and Sanibel & Captiva Islands area. In 2017, she opened a design studio on Sanibel, showcasing her passion for coastal-inspired décor.
After Hurricane Ian, Bridget continued her work from her warehouse location, designing beautiful and functional homes and condominiums spaces for clients throughout Southwest Florida. Known for building strong relationships, she offers a collaborative design process characterized by attentive listening, thoughtful guidance, and a sincere commitment to her clients’ needs. With her deep product knowledge and attention to detail, Bridget expertly leads projects to successful completion.
Her longstanding partnerships with local contractors, workrooms, and furniture vendors are key to delivering exceptional results. Clients return to Bridget year after year, confident in her ability to manage projects of any size with the same level of dedication and excellence.

Erik Vandenburgh
Owner, Vice President
Erik Vandenburgh was raised in Buffalo, New York, and attended the University of New York at Buffalo, where he studied Sports Management. He began his sales career in 1993 at South Seas Plantation on Captiva Island in the hospitality field. Over the past 30 years, Erik has built a successful sales career in Southwest Florida, quickly advancing to management positions at popular local restaurants on Sanibel and Fort Myers. With excellent customer service skills, he is known for being friendly, hard-working, and personable.
In 2017, Erik became a Licensed Real Estate Professional in Florida, currently working with John R. Wood Properties and Christie's International Real Estate. He possesses extensive knowledge of the area, including the islands, beaches, schools, arts, and entertainment. Erik resides in South Fort Myers with his wife, Bridget. Together, they form a dynamic team, specializing in decorating, staging, and selling homes. Erik also provides home watch services and assists with deliveries and unpacking new inventory. He enjoys visiting furniture markets to support Bridget in selecting new merchandise.
Erik leads an active Florida lifestyle, enjoying outdoor activities such as golf, fishing, and boating. He is also involved in church activities and community fundraisers. A passionate Buffalo Bills fan, he eagerly anticipates football season each year.
Recently, Erik became a proud member of S.C.I.S, reflecting his commitment to the islands he loves. Whether you are buying or selling, Erik is dedicated to delivering the results you deserve.
