Originally from Buffalo, New York, Erik attended the University at Buffalo, where he studied Sports Management before beginning his hospitality career at South Seas Plantation on Captiva Island in 1993.

Over the years, Erik built a successful career in sales and management throughout Southwest Florida, earning a reputation for exceptional customer service, strong communication skills, and a commitment to exceeding client expectations. His extensive knowledge of the region—including Fort Myers, Sanibel, Captiva, local beaches, schools, arts, dining, and entertainment—allows him to provide valuable insight to both buyers and sellers.

Licensed as a Florida Real Estate Professional since 2017 and currently affiliated with Premiere Plus Realty, Erik is dedicated to helping clients navigate the real estate process with confidence. He works closely alongside his wife, Bridget Vandenburgh, combining expertise in home presentation, interior design, and real estate marketing to help homeowners maximize value and achieve outstanding results.

In addition to his real estate career, Erik serves as Vice President of Bridget Vandenburgh Interiors, where he oversees operations, project management, and logistics. His attention to detail and dedication to excellence contribute to the continued success of both businesses.

An active member of the Southwest Florida community, Erik enjoys golf, fishing, boating, church activities, and supporting local charitable fundraisers.
